Why we are building Alqum

Hardware compliance slows down every engineering team. Engineers spend too much of their week on compliance documentation when they should be designing. And when compliance issues show up late in the design cycle, the result is expensive redesigns and delayed shipments.

We think compliance should be part of the design process from the start, not something bolted on at the end. Alqum brings compliance validation directly into CAD workflows, catching issues in real time and generating documentation automatically.

Long term, we want to build the collaboration and lifecycle management platform for hardware engineering. Think GitHub meets Cursor, but for CAD. We are starting with compliance because it is the most painful and most neglected part of hardware development.
